Did you know that God really does care for you? In fact, He cares for you so much that He offered His only Son as a sacrifice for YOUR sins. Think about that for just a moment, won't you? The Bible tells us that while we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us. Roman 5:8
He didn't wait for you to be "good enough" to save. Truth is, none of us are "good enough". He's not asking you now to be anything other than what you are. He's simply asking you to think about what He has already done for you-- while you are still lost.
Wherever you are, whatever condition you are in, Jesus Christ loved you and gave himself for you...just as you are. If you haven't talked with the Lord in a while, today would be a great day to do so. If you've never asked Him to forgive you of your sins, please do so today.
How long has it been since you talked with the Lord
And told him your heart's hidden secrets?
How long since you prayed?
How long since you stayed
On your knees 'til the light shone through?
How long has it been since your mind felt at ease?
How long since your heart knew no burden?
Can you call him your friend?
How long has it been
Since you knew that he cared for you?
